The whore known as the San Diego Comic con has passed. It actually passed and faded into memory about 10 years ago when Hollywood figured out it can shlep its shitty movie conglomerate into the once modest comic fair. However, I did find a few gems worthy of note that define what the Con is all about.
Thomas Jane recently known for the HBO series “Hung” about man whoring, once upon a time made a shitty “The Punisher” movie. Thomas Jane was actually a damn good Frank Castle, but once you add that hack Travolta to the mix as a hammy villain…lets just say that shit tends to slide downhill and stick to your shoe.
Thomas Jane loved playing the character an did himself a little fan service and made a Punisher short film entitled “Dirty Laundry.”
“I wanted to make a fan film for a character I’ve always loved and believed in – a love letter to Frank Castle & his fans. It was an incredible experience with everyone on the project throwing in their time just for the fun of it. It’s been a blast to be a part of from start to finish — we hope the friends of Frank enjoy watching it as much as we did making it.”
It’s pretty fucking awesome.
This is the best 10 minutes of the Punisher caught on film!
